How to Witness to Restaurant Servers Using the Cards

1. Print some cards from the Print-A-Card page.
2. When your server brings your food say something like this:
   "My wife/friend and I are going to thank God for our food. Is there someone that you love that you would like us to pray for?"
   
   Notes:
   a). I have found that it is always best to look the server in the eyes when you ask for their request.  99.9% of the servers I have talked with have responded with a prayer request. If you do get a server that is surprised and has no request, just say "We'll pray that you have a good day."  This always gets a "thank you."
   b). Remember that this is not a time for confrontation. It is an opportunity to plant the seed of God's love.
3. When you thank God for your food be sure to include the request from your server in your prayer. This is also a good time to ask that the Father draw them to Jesus.
4. When you are finished eating, leave a good tip, the We Prayed For You Card and/or a gospel tract. Write the server's name on the card along with the person for whom you prayed. Remember not to pry for details that may not be appropriate for you to know at this time. Be thankful that they have trusted you with a burden from their heart.

You have now planted a seed of God's love!
