After you have experienced the joy of sharing God’s love with a server, you are going to be excited to have others in your church know the same joy.

Using the following steps will give your congregation a lasting introduction.

1. Tell about your experience asking a server for a prayer request. If possible ask some others to share their experiences.
2. Play the video.
3. Be sure to emphasize that there is no confrontation, no memorization, and there are no classes.
4. Have a brochure insert for each church bulletin along with 2 “We Prayed for You Cards” that have been personalized for your church.
5. Challenge the congregation to ask for a prayer request when they go out to eat after church, emphasizing how simple it is.
1. Say to the server  “we are going to thank God for our food.”
2. Ask the server “is there anyone that you love that you would like us to pray for?”
3. Thank them for their request.
4. When you leave, be sure to leave a good tip along with a tract or a “We Prayed for You” card.
5. Follow up at your next service by asking people to share their experiences.
6. Be sure to keep a good supply of brochures and customized “We Prayed for You” cards in your lobby.
7. Encourage people to share their experiences with you, their friends, and the congregation from week to week.
8. Be sure to e-mail a friend and share your excitement for this ministry.
